This week, DCHS is hosting Mental Health Awareness Week with a variety of activities held each day over the lunch hour.  We are also featuring an "App of the Day" that can be a resource for mental health issues. Today's app is #LetsTalk.  Download the #LetsTalk app for a chance to win a door prize.  Talk with Jen the nurse about all the ways you can be eligible to win a prize this week! The sticky notes around the school are for your taking. If you like what they say please keep it for yourself. You can also move them around. If you feel that one would be better in another place please put it there. Thanks!!

 

Students: Are you looking to join a club the benefit the school and make a lasting impact on DCHS and Glendive? Student Council is accepting applications this week only! If this is something you find attractive Mr. Skalsky has applications in his room. They are due Friday by 3:30. There will be a meeting Monday at lunch to see if there needs to be a campaign for positions. May the odds be in your favor!

 

Juniors: The ACT scores should be arriving shortly.  If you would like to retake the ACT on the next test date, Saturday, June 8th, you need to register by Friday, May 3rd to avoid late fees.  The closest test center for the June date is in Miles City or Dickinson.  Register at www.act.org.  You need to make sure to register using your ACT ID, which is on your test results, and you will need a credit card to complete the process.    Please see Mrs. Hoffer if you have any questions.

Student Council: Student council meeting is cancelled for today.

Science Olympiad will have a meeting Monday at lunch in room B203.

Students: Students happy mental health week! We will be doing our competition again this year! The class with the most painted green fingers will win a popcorn party! See Ms. G to get painted!!!

 

Senior Class: Just a reminder any senior who wants to decorate their cap for graduation need to sign-up in the office. They will be checked on Wednesday May 15th.

 

Drivers Education: You can now register for the summer class that will run from May 13th with a parent meeting starting at 6:00 PM in the DCHS Cafeteria and run until June 27th. Registration forms can be picked up and returned to the offices at DCHS or WMS. A payment of $225.00, made payable to DCHS, must accompany the registration form. Applications received after May 6th will be given low priority. To be eligible for this class a student must reach their 15th birthday on or before November 30th. There will be 7 classes held at 6:15 am before the end of the current school year. After school is out, class will be held noon to 2 pm Monday thru Thursday, concluding on June 27th. All students will complete 6 two-hour drives during the class.
