On Veterans' Day, we had the honor to celebrate it at DCC's event Bounce for Braves. Our students watched the DCC girls' and boys' teams play basketball, show their Buc spirit, get hyped with different activities during the event, honor our veterans, interact with DCC athletes, and enjoy ice cream thanks to Cross Petroleum! What a special day for our students!!!
It was such a wonderful event put on by DCC and other partnerships. Together we go far!!!

Thanks to all the Mrs. Schaaf, our WMS Student Council, school staff chaperones, custodians, and parents for giving on their time, staying up late, and making our Fall School Dance possible.
Events like these wouldn't be possible with our volunteers!!!

You can help, but love middle school when you see kids be who they are.

Our 7th/8th grade GBB are kicking off the season today. 7th grade GBB are at WMS going strong against Miles City.

Mrs. Eckert's 6th-graders practiced identifying the point of view by facing off with another student. Whoever correctly identified the correct first, second, or third-person point of view according to the sentence won! Who said learning doesn't awaken your senses?

Don't forget RRW at WMS starts on Monday! Show your pride and Demon Spirt by dressing up!

This isn't your average investigation of a living thing. Mrs. Newton's 7th-graders are digging into resources and applying their learning to learn more about a living thing of their choices. Thanks, Mrs. Houck for your support.

Our preschoolers want to remind you of some safety advice. Some things lurk in the dark. Stay safe as the sun does down earlier, and always be with a friend.

Mrs. Wade's class is working on critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and more as they create a tower that will hold the most books.

Get ready!
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way ,YAY! Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers. AND—as always—every purchase at the Book Fair benefits Washington Middle School!

Our skills and brains aren't the only things growing in Ms. Tennant's FACS class! Check out the plants they are growing and how well they are doing!

WOW! What great seasons our WMS Cross Country, Football, and Volleyball Teams experienced! We greatly appreciate all our student-athletes, parents, coaches, and Activities Director, Mr. Murphy, for all their support.
We are said to say goodbye to those sports, but we are excited for WMS Girls' Basketball and Wrestling to begin!
Shout out to our 8th-graders who participated on teams at DCHS!

What sparks you? Mrs. Newton's STEM class reflected on what SPARKS them!
