Tonight is the night of the 2nd Annual DCHS Art Show! The open house is from 5-8 pm, and admission is free for everyone to come and check it out! There will be a silent auction featuring the work of many of our talented students and alumni of the Art Department, items such as hats and t-shirts for purchase, art displays from all of our art students, as well as featured displays for students in the advanced art class. It is going to be a great time, and we hope to see everyone there!

The DCHS Art Department is hosting their 2nd Annual Art Show this Thursday, March 30, from 5-8 at the high school. The art show is free, and the students are ready for a big crowd! It is such a fun event that these artists have been working hard on all year. All are welcome to check out the fun and talent of all these great kids. There will be mugs, plants, our new t-shirt design, and cotton candy!!! We hope to see you there!

Students: we are hosting a book drive in front of the office. Please bring any new or in good condition used books to donate. Books can range from children's books to high school books. Good luck to the Red Devil boys basketball team at the Class A state tournament this week! Their first game will be on Thursday, March 9, at 12 p.m. against the Dillon Beavers. GO DEVILS!!!
CORRECTION FROM AN EARLIER POST: The DCHS spring sports parents meeting will be tonight, Monday, March 6th at 6 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Individual program meetings will follow.
The DCHS Junior class is hosting prom on Saturday, March 18th. Grand March will begin at 8 p.m., and the theme is "Night in Athens"

DCHS Key Club will host a Vitalant School Blood Drive on March 7th. The Blood Drive is open to school staff and students. If you are 16 or older, and wish to donate blood, see the sign-up sheet in the office for an available time slot. The permission forms, which are very important for those interested under the age of 18, are in a stack next to the sign-up sheet. If you have any questions, please visit with Ms. Fawns. Remember to drink at least an extra 16 oz of water before your appointment (Start hydrating the day before giving blood!) *Eat a healthy meal before donating. (Don't skip breakfast or lunch) *Wear a shirt with sleeves you can roll up above your elbow.
The DCHS Prom will be March 18. If you're planning to bring an out-of-town guest, paperwork MUST be turned into the office by March 10!
Prom committee meeting in Mrs. Tuma's room TODAY 3/2 at lunch. There are a few vital things we need to figure out. Any Junior who is interested in helping with prom can attend.
Italy Trip: For anyone interested in going on the Italy trip in the summer of 2024, there will be a student/parent meeting on Thursday, March 2nd, at 7:00 PM at WMS. Please use the front doors. Due to space, the meeting will take place in the Band Room at WMS. Please contact Mrs. Schaaf if you have any questions.
