Mr. Pagawisan’s Sophomore Biology class had an exciting hands-on activity on reaction time, showcasing one of the characteristics of living things — Response to Stimuli! 🌱✨
Students paired up to test each other using the classic ruler drop method, exploring how our bodies respond under three different conditions:
👀 Visual – Eyes open, catching the ruler without warning.
👂 Auditory – Eyes closed, relying only on the cue word “Release.”
✋ Tactile – Eyes closed, reacting to a shoulder tap.
Through this fun and engaging experiment, students experienced firsthand how living things constantly interact with their environment by responding to different forms of stimuli. 🌍🔎
